Activite: Kick Off Meeting

The project's kick-off meeting in Germany will bring together two teachers and two students from each partner organization, along with two STEM experts, over the course of three days.
It will include the presentation of the project's objectives and work plan, workshops sharing best practices and strategies for increasing girls' participation in STEM in the context of gender equality, hands-on STEM activities for students, the design of awareness campaigns with a virtual mentoring program, the identification of a STEM resource repository and dissemination strategies, and an evaluation session with a cultural excursion.
2. Activite: Gender-Inclusive Teaching Practices And Strategies to Engage Girls in STEM Subjects Teacher Training
The three-day training program, hosted by Ireland with the participation of three teachers from each partner school, aims to provide teachers with the necessary strategies and tools to deliver gender-sensitive and inclusive STEM education.
The program includes workshops on recognizing and addressing unconscious biases, designing gender-inclusive lesson plans, innovative teaching methods and technology use to attract girls to STEM, practical application sessions, experience sharing by women STEM professionals, planning STEM days, and a cultural trip to a science center.

3. Activite: STEM Explorers – Hands-On Learning for Girls

The three-day LTT to be held in Turkey aims to increase the interest of female students aged 12-15 in STEM fields.
The interactive program includes hands-on activities such as coding, engineering projects, and sustainability-based experiments; discussions with female role models in STEM fields; career path planning exercises; a visit to a science museum; and the opportunity for students to design and present their own mini-projects.
4. Activite: Awareness Campaign and Workshop: Breaking Stereotypes in STEM
During the three-day LTT in Portugal, participants will engage in a series of workshops, presentations, and campaign activities focused on raising awareness about gender equality in STEM.
The activity includes interactive sessions aimed at understanding and overcoming gender stereotypes, experience sharing by successful women STEM professionals, workshops for designing digital posters, videos, and infographics for awareness campaigns, a cultural tour, and group work aimed at sharing the materials produced by participants in partner countries.
